SALA Works Exhibition
Or Gallery, Vancouver, British Columbia
Exhibited February 25 – March 12, 2012
As part of the UBC School of Architecture + Landscape Architecture’s accrediation process I was commissioned to design a faculty work exhibition at the Or Gallery. In addressing the challenge of developing a cohesive exhibition from a multitude of divergent faculty work, I developed a modular template system of presentation boards with consistent typographic hierarchies and a catalogue of possible arrangements. These boards were then arranged salon style, moving vertically and horizontally across the space of the gallery walls, arranged in thematic clusters. Large, bold typographic applications demarcate the thematic territories while floating tables display models and writing.
Curated and co-designed with Matthew Soules.
